How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent local provider. They run their own plumbing business. They are not employees of Pastgrateful Plumbing.

We connect you. After that, the conversation is between you and the provider. They give the advice, the quote, and the repair.

What Happens After You Reach Out

Here is the usual path:

  • You send a request or request a callback.
  • A provider in our network hears about your problem.
  • They ask a few questions. Be ready to describe what you see, hear, and smell.
  • They explain next steps and, if possible, a price range.

Availability varies by provider and by season. Storms and cold snaps can keep providers busy. Many can respond quickly, but ask what is realistic for you.

Safe Steps While You Wait

  • Do shut off the main water valve if water is spreading and you can reach it safely.
  • Do move valuables away from water.
  • Do not touch outlets or appliances near standing water.
  • Do not pour harsh chemicals into a clogged drain and leave them there.
  • Do not use a fixture that is backing up.

What to Ask a Plumber

  • Can you give me a written quote before work starts?
  • What could change the price?
  • Is there a trip or diagnostic fee?
  • Are you licensed and insured for this work in my area?
  • How long should the repair take?
  • Is the work warrantied, and what does that cover?

Write down the answers. Ask for it written.

You Are in Control

You choose whether to hire the provider. You can ask more questions. You can get a second quote. There is no obligation to move forward.

Be wary of anyone who will not explain the price or pushes you to sign fast.
